We are seeking a skilled Telecom Engineer with a strong background in Avaya technologies. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting enterprise-level telecommunication systems to support the organization’s communication needs.
Key Responsibilities
- System Design and Configuration: Design and configure Avaya communication systems, including Avaya Communication Manager 8.0, Avaya Session Manager, Avaya System Manager, and Avaya Aura solutions to support organizational requirements.
- Installation and Maintenance: Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot Avaya G650 and G450 Gateways, Avaya Session Border Controllers, and RedSky (E911) for emergency services, ensuring optimal functionality and availability.
- User Management and Support: Manage user accounts, permissions, and configurations through Avaya Control Manager and Avaya Workforce Optimization.
- Voice and Messaging Services: Maintain and optimize Avaya Aura Messaging, Avaya Aura Conferencing, and Virtual Hold Technology to enhance customer and employee communication capabilities.
- Call Analytics and Monitoring: Oversee Avaya Call Management System, Avaya Contact Recorder, and Avaya Contact Analyzer to provide reporting and analysis on call data, ensuring compliance with organizational standards.
- Customer Experience: Implement and support Avaya OneX and other contact center applications, enabling effective, high-quality communication for customer service teams.
- Documentation and Training: Document system configurations, policies, and procedures. Train staff on best practices for telecom usage and troubleshoot user issues as they arise.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years working with Avaya communication systems, with proven expertise in the specific products listed.
- Certifications: Avaya or other telecom certifications are highly desirable.
- Skills: Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
